predil lake
At 8 Km from Sella Nevea is the picturesque alpine natural Predil Lake. It is the 2nd largest lake in the region. Predil lake characteristics are the pure waters, with blue and green colors, the woods and the little grass, sand or rocky beaches.
In the summer, the lake is a favorite destination for nature lovers and peace seekers. The lake is a protected environment, where it not possible to drive and around which there are not hotels or properties, in line with the idea to create and maintain am ecologic green area.
However, there are two establishments that offer the necessary to enjoy water sports, like windsurf, canoe, kayaks, water-bikes, dive trampoline, and relax on a cool beach so regenerating compared to the far too hot sea shores.
In the winter, the lake is an enchanted place, where the trees loaded with snow crown the large shimmering white plateau of the frozen lake.
